Barber's Resort is a small tourist
resort located at Minaki in Northwestern Ontario on the Famous Winnipeg River
system.
We have 9 lake front cabins located
on a 30 acre property with 1800 feet of shoreline.
Barber's is owned and operated by
Peter and Traut Barber who began this family run business in 1980.
Our cabins are 2, 3 or 4 bedroom
and very modern and comfortable. Each cabin is completely outfitted for
housekeeping with amenities such as refigerators, deep freezers, microwaves,
bedding and cable tv. Each cabin has its own deck with a weber grill plus
a private boat dock.
We take pride in providing a
combination of excellent fishing and fine hospitality.
From our resort you can fish 5 main lakes and a
multitude of smaller areas of the Winnipeg River. The five main
lakes are Gunnlake, Big Sand Lake, Little Sand Lake, Pistol Lake and
Roughrock lake.
Peter and Traut Barber also operate
a fly-in outpost camp on Conifer Lake, which is located 44 air miles north east
of Minaki. We are the only outpost on the lake.
